In a recent column in the weekend section of the Washington Post, the site CrazyBlindDate.com was discussed. If you are truly Motivated to Marry I would stay away from this site. This is the most haphazard way to meet people.
You barely know anything about this person except perhaps their age and where they live. That is not wise, or safe dating practices. Would you go on a blind date without knowing anything about someone? Usually, When you are set up on a blind date it is by someone who knows you and your values. You ask questions about this person before you are willing to meet them. The person setting you up has a stake in your success and happiness. Here at this site your picks are purely random. What about their education, interests, profession, or whether they love animals like you do? How tall are they? What do they look like?
How it works is you tell the site where you live and when you want to go on a date. That’s it! I never heard of anything so ridiculous. Okay, you can restrict by age.
Any crazy person can sign up and it’s free! The woman interviewed for the ad went on a date because she was bored! this is not intentional thinking. How about looking for someone who is a good partner? I think this young woman was interested in a fun encounter or hookup- not looking for a long term marriage partner. Many people just don’t think past their nose!
This is a dangerous site for my Motivated to Marry folks. I recomment you stay away. I prefer sites that you see how the person thinks and you can read how they write. Also, those sites where people are willing to invest money to get quality people. Be smart and be safe! Then you are more likely to have a good internet dating experience.
