All relationships take time!\u00a0 So in a romantic relationship especially requires time and attention.\u00a0 You know this.\u00a0 However, are you fully prepared to make the time you need to give to a relationship?<\/p>\n

Let me tell you about one of my client\u2019s complaints.\u00a0 \u201cThese women are too busy.\u00a0 It will be a month before we can find time for a date!\u201d\u00a0 Part of me is wondering if it\u2019s something about my client or if it is about many of us having a very busy life.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I remember back to when I was dating.\u00a0 I was a business owner with a clothing boutique and someone who likes to make plans in advance.\u00a0 So my now husband had to be a patient (and persistent) man-since he almost didn\u2019t ask me out for a second date because it would be a month later!\u00a0\u00a0 I can\u2019t remember what it was, but being a boutique owner, I had to go to New York for buying trips.\u00a0 Since I have family up there- I would combine it with a visit to my family.\u00a0\u00a0 My husband perceived me as being too busy for a relationship!\u00a0 Luckily he did ask me out again and it is what we call history!\u00a0<\/p>\n

I became aware of people who I called \u201cactivity-oriented\u201d people.\u00a0 They travel from activity to activity such as a bike ride to a concert to a swing dance.\u00a0 I was guilty of being that kind of person.\u00a0\u00a0 However, the difference was, I was willing to forgo these activities for a date or a chance to be with people I care about.\u00a0 That is what I call \u201crelationship focused\u201d.\u00a0 This is one of my biggest advice for dating- MAKE TIME!\u00a0<\/p>\n
