\"\"<\/a>After Labor Day weekend the summer for the most part has ended and we get back into the back to school<\/em> and back to work<\/em> mode.\u00a0 There is a sense that there is a finite amount of time to get things done before the November-December holidays.\u00a0 One of those items on your \u201cto do\u201d list most likely is to find love.\u00a0 Wouldn\u2019t it be nice to find someone special in your life for the holidays this year and beyond?<\/p>\n

The summer was fun with vacations, or long weekends and it may not have brought you love yet.\u00a0 You may have been putting off doing the work<\/em> it seems you have to do to meet people for dating that could lead to a long term relationship or even marriage.<\/p>\n

Now it\u2019s time to get serious and make a commitment to yourself about dating and getting yourself out there again.\u00a0 I recommend you create a dating plan to find someone special.\u00a0 I recommend three keys ways to meet people for dating that has been the most successful ways for my clients:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Go Back Online!\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

You\u2019ve tried it before. Yes, I know it can be frustrating and tiresome.\u00a0 However, when I look how my clients do find someone special, two-third have done so through online dating.\u00a0 The research is saying that one in five marriages comes from online dating (Recently I\u2019ve seen one out of three).\u00a0 So my suggestion is to re-think your strategy.\u00a0 Pick a new site or revamp your profile on a site you have tried before.\u00a0 September is a great time to go back online.\u00a0 You are in a different place in your life.\u00a0 I recommend you make time for this endeavor.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Join 2 to 3 New Groups<\/strong><\/p>\n

After the summer break, men and women will be out looking for love again.\u00a0 I recommend you look to join two or three new groups- something a little different that you feel you can meet people you will connect well with and have common interests.\u00a0 You see I didn\u2019t say 10 here!<\/em>\u00a0 I feel it is better to see the same people time and time again so they get to know you.\u00a0 Try to avoid making snap judgments about people.\u00a0 Meetup today is where it\u2019s at.\u00a0 So surf the single Meetups in your area and try a couple for several months. Meetup is all about building relationships over time.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Ask someone to Introduce you to Someone <\/strong><\/p>\n

This is one of the top ways to find someone special \u2013 through other people.\u00a0\u00a0 The best thing you can do is create what I call the 30 second info-mercial.\u00a0 This comprises of the essence of who you are looking for that align with your core relationship values, your life goals and your must haves.\u00a0 People in your network may have to know first that you are now looking to meet someone (perhaps they have assumed you gave up by now!) and some details about who you are looking for.\u00a0 You may be surprised that they do know someone to introduce you to.<\/p>\n

So if your goal is to find someone special for a serious relationship by the winter holidays, then I strongly suggest that you put some energy and focus on this endeavor and create a targeted dating plan.\u00a0 Like anything in life, that which gets our attention has the best chance of moving forward with the desired results.<\/p>\n
