<\/strong>Most of my clients live in a metropolitan area with a large singles population with all age ranges.\u00a0 So when I hear that someone can\u2019t meet people, I scratch my head and wonder if they have come out of a coma!\u00a0\u00a0 You can meet tons of people in most big cities (DC, New York, LA, Miami, Boston, San Francisco, Dallas and Chicago) although not everyone is marriage minded!<\/p>\n

Here are the top ways that I see my clients and friends meeting serious, marriage minded people for dating and an eventual long term relationship that needs to be a part of your fall dating plan.<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Online Dating<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Many people think it pass\u00e9; however, recently I was sitting at my table in at a wedding where the couple met online, as well as at least 2 couples at my table.\u00a0 One out of 5 marriages has come from online dating and two thirds of my clients have met their spouses online.\u00a0 This method definitely has to be part of your dating plan!<\/strong><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Ask a friend to set you up! <\/strong><\/p>\n

Who knows you better than your friends and loved ones?\u00a0 Most everyone knows a single person that they would love to set up.\u00a0 Women especially love to play matchmaker.\u00a0 This is a top way that people meet people.\u00a0 So don\u2019t be shy and ask away!<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Go regularly to your house of worship! <\/strong><\/p>\n

If you have a faith, then it is best to meet a partner who shares that faith.\u00a0 Your community would be only too happy to support having a couple meet at their place of worship. <\/strong><\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Join a Group! <\/strong><\/p>\n

With Meetup.com, Facebook Groups and tons of singles event groups in your area you can keep yourself busy every night of the week if you\u2019d like.\u00a0 I don\u2019t recommend spreading yourself too thin.\u00a0\u00a0 Pick a half a dozen groups to go to regularly so people can get to know you.\u00a0 I have a Meetup group for marriage minded singles in DC!\u00a0\u00a0 Hope you check us out. <\/strong><\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Get involved in a cause. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Nothing brings people together than a rallying cry for a cause you feel strongly for.\u00a0 Find a cause that you can be passionate about such as being green or helping animals in need. Also, you may want to help children who need a good role model and some assistance in life such as Big Brother or Big Sister.\u00a0 Here you are finding other giving people.\u00a0 I recommend you look for single volunteer groups.<\/p>\n
