And yet, everyone around these superstars sees a \u201cmagnet\u201d for all things good. It\u2019s as enviable and inspiring as it\u2019s maddening.<\/p>\n

What may be most obvious is how they always seem to attract good things to themselves.<\/p>\n

What may not be so obvious is how they prepare themselves to attract the things they want.<\/p>\n

Sure, some may be the beneficiaries of occasional strokes of luck. But the bigger picture is really defined by the Law of Attraction<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The idea that \u201copposites attract\u201d is, I believe, more about \u201ccomplementing\u201d one another. You\u2019re good at this, I\u2019m good at that, and together we make a great team.<\/em><\/p>\n

However, when it comes to the secret to finding true love, like attracts like.<\/p>\n

Put another way, you attract what you focus on. <\/em><\/strong>Your thoughts are like magnets. What you send out is like a magnet that attracts and manifests more of the same.<\/h2>\n

In this way the Universe displays a slightly twisted, even humorous, benevolence. That is, it is set up to allow you to always be right.<\/em><\/p>\n

Convinced you\u2019ll never find love? Bingo!<\/em><\/p>\n

Confident that fulfilling love is on its way to you? Bingo again!<\/em><\/p>\n

This is about the conditioning of your mind, and it has nothing to do with age.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s about being genuinely confident and positive, but not cocky.<\/p>\n

The secret to finding true love doesn\u2019t begin and end with \u201cthinking positive thoughts,\u201d of course. But, without an understanding of how you attract and manifest the very content of your mind, your dating life won\u2019t be as fruitful as it could be.<\/h2>\n

Let\u2019s use the example of a woman who has had a painful breakup and has decided that relationships are of no use. \u201cAll men are self-centered, sex maniacs, and non-committal.\u201d<\/h3>\n

Guess what she is going to continue attracting to herself, even if she thinks she has sworn off relationships?<\/p>\n

In her mind, she has been \u201cwronged,\u201d and everything in the future is going to be a repeat of the past.<\/p>\n

Right again!<\/em><\/p>\n

Now let\u2019s use the example of a man who has also had a painful breakup, but has a different perspective on it.<\/h3>\n

He hurts for the loss of love, companionship, and the hope of a future together.<\/p>\n

He hurts for the ways he wasn\u2019t the partner he could have been and for not knowing how to communicate better within the relationship.<\/p>\n

He also hurts for the woman he loved, knowing that she is a good person and her heart is also broken.<\/p>\n

They may not have been right for one another in terms of forever, but he knows that the right one is out there.<\/em><\/p>\n

He knows that finding true love is difficult<\/a>, and it doesn\u2019t always show up on a first date or in a first relationship.<\/p>\n

What power does he have, then? Does he need to just wait it out and hope love shows up with \u201cforever\u201d written on a gift tag?<\/p>\n

Unlike the woman who \u201cdecided\u201d that the pursuit of love was useless based on past experience, our male protagonist makes a different decision.<\/p>\n

He decides to learn from his loss and reinvest the lessons into his unshaken belief that forever love is out there. And it\u2019s not just worth waiting for, it\u2019s worth working for.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
