And is finding true love on your list?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Your ambitions for the New Year may be nicely organized under predictable categories: health\/fitness, career, financial, and, hopefully, <em>relationships.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"https:\/\/motivatedtomarry.com\/stage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/New-Years.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3208 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/motivatedtomarry.com\/stage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/New-Years.jpg\" alt=\"A couple embracing and watching fireworks.\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t matter if you have a big ritual around making resolutions or if you scribble them on scrap paper and carry them in your wallet.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What truly matters is that you make the connection between your resolutions and all the choices you make in your daily life.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>If you have the familiar goal of being more diligent on your diet and shedding unhealthy pounds, how are you going about accomplishing that? What are you choosing to eat and not eat? Are you being more proactive about physical activity?<\/p>\n<p>Are you even considering partnering with a life coach to help keep you set goals and stay on track?<\/p>\n<p>The same attention to \u201cgoal accountability\u201d applies to <a href=\"https:\/\/motivatedtomarry.com\/stage\/why-is-finding-true-love-so-difficult\/\">finding true love<\/a> as much as it does to getting into shape.<\/p>\n<p>You have the power to say <em>no <\/em>to some things and <em>yes <\/em>to others.<\/p>\n<p>You also have the power to ask questions, explore, research, and try a new approach when your \u201cold ways\u201d aren\u2019t working.<\/p>\n<p>So I will ask again. <strong><em>What are you choosing for 2022?<\/em><\/strong> What do you want or need to say <em>no <\/em>to this year?<\/p>\n<h2>If you&#8217;re ready to find true love this year, you\u2018ll want to consider saying NO to things like&#8230;<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Dating unmotivated people<\/li>\n<li>Sitting on the sidelines and not putting yourself out there<\/li>\n<li>Listening to the naysayers who tell you there are no quality singles out there or all the good ones are taken<\/li>\n<li>Negative, inflexible, &#8220;me&#8221; people<\/li>\n<li>Having a potential partner honor your requests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>To reach your resolution of finding true love this year, consider saying YES to things like&#8230;<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Trying new ways to meet someone<\/li>\n<li>Setting the right boundaries that keep you safe while not cutting off good prospects<\/li>\n<li>Being around positive and supportive people<\/li>\n<li>Learning how to be your best in relationship<\/li>\n<li>Empowering yourself to ask for what you need in a relationship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So, are you ready to declare what you truly want for yourself?<\/p>\n<h2><strong>I encourage you to step into what you truly want.
