This year Valentine\u2019s Day lands on a Saturday.\u00a0 So if you are single, perhaps not only do you not have a date for Saturday evening, you also don\u2019t have a date for Valentine\u2019s Day Evening- that\u2019s a double whammy!\u00a0\u00a0 So what do you normally do on a Saturday evening?\u00a0 I hope you are not saying, \u201cI stay home and wash my hair!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Make plans with your friends to have a fun evening out.\u00a0 I find it helps to be actively involved so you won\u2019t think of what you don\u2019t have.\u00a0\u00a0
\nYou can find a venue that has a good band, go dancing or even go bowling!\u00a0\u00a0 Or if that\u2019s not your cup of tea, then you can go to a movie that you were dying to see.\u00a0\u00a0 Personally, I recommend a good action or drama film over a romantic comedy for this evening!<\/p>\n
If you don\u2019t want to go out and see all the love birds cooing at each other, what about having a dinner party at your home.\u00a0 You can have a potluck dinner so you don\u2019t have to do all the work.\u00a0 Make sure people bring decadent deserts.\u00a0\u00a0 Try to have your friends bring a friend so you get to meet new people!\u00a0 You can play board games or arrange a poker game.\u00a0<\/p>\n
So you don\u2019t have to dread Valentine\u2019s Day Evening.\u00a0\u00a0 Lean on your single friends who are in the same boat as you.\u00a0\u00a0 You will have a more enjoyable evening than staying home and washing your hair and seeing Friends reruns!\u00a0<\/p>\n
