I am adding to my blog is weekly inspirational stories about Motivated to Marry individuals who have had success meeting and connecting with their spouse.\u00a0\u00a0 As a DC Dating Coach I see that each person has a journey and by reading these stories you may say, \u2018If if can happen for her (him), then it can happen for me!\u201d\u00a0 The people I write about are either my clients (with their names changed to keep their confidentiality) or people I have met who I see have the Motivated to Marry mindset.<\/p>\n
As a DC dating coach I wanted start with my own story.\u00a0 Blogs are supposed to be brief so I will try to give you the Cliff Notes version! My story will be written in weekly installments so please check back to find out more about my story.<\/p>\n
I was divorced at 36 after being married for 11 years.\u00a0 It was something I never expected.\u00a0 I had started talking to my ex about having a child when I turned 35 years old.\u00a0 We had discussed having children when we got married when I was 25 and it seemed we were on the same page.\u00a0 So I thought!\u00a0 It turned out that my discussion around children was the beginning of the end of my marriage.<\/p>\n
In order to emotionally separate, my husband had an affair and he knew that I could not live with that. (Have any of you read \u201cCrazy Time\u201d?).\u00a0\u00a0 The loss of the trust and ultimately my marriage was a big blow for me.<\/p>\n
After working with a therapist, I saw the light about my so called marriage and how my ex and I were not really a good match for one another.\u00a0 So being an extraverted person married to an anti-social introverted person, I found out there was a whole world out there- a world to discover!<\/p>\n
How do you move past disappointment of your past relationship?\u00a0 Have you let holding on to the past impact your future chance for happiness?\u00a0 Are you able to pick yourself up and move towards finding new love?\u00a0\u00a0 This inquiring DC Dating Coach would like to know!<\/p>\n
