I was having lunch yesterday with a dynamic woman who is a fellow creative entrepreneur. We were\u00a0sharing information about how to grow our respective businesses.\u00a0 I had brought my 4 month son with me since it was a day I dedicated to spend with him.\u00a0 Luckily, he was sleeping like an angel so I could focus on my colleague.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

She was an attractive 50 something woman and very put together.\u00a0 She looked at Andrew and expressed the regret of not having children in her life.\u00a0 I was not sure about her personal life.\u00a0 It turned out she was single and seemed to have a negative view of meeting someone for a love relationship.\u00a0\u00a0“It’s so hard to meet\u00a0quality men\u00a0in DC”, she\u00a0expressed.\u00a0 I could already see that she was in a scarcity perspective.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I had asked her if she had done any online dating\u00a0to meet men to date.\u00a0 She said she had not.\u00a0 I told her my philosophy about internet dating and that men love the internet!\u00a0 I had written an article about “The Case for Dating on the Internet” (which is posted on my website www.heartmindconnection..com<\/a> in the “free” section)\u00a0 I told her many of my clients have met their love relationship partner through online dating.\u00a0 In fact, as I review my successful clients who are now in loving relationships and many are married, over two thirds<\/strong> have met their mates through online dating.\u00a0<\/p>\n

My dating advice to you my reader is if you are not trying online dating to meet people you are missing a great opportunity.\u00a0 With our busy schedules and our desire to prescreen people the best we can, the internet offers a unique opportunity.\u00a0 It is not the be all and end all, however it is an important way to meet people you would not normally run into in your day to day lives.\u00a0 Very quality people are looking to online dating and should be taken seriously- especially for the baby boomers.\u00a0\u00a0(This is the fastest growing market in internet dating)<\/p>\n

I am surprised – that even in my mommy’s group, an under 30 couple met each other online.\u00a0 These are very attractive individuals.\u00a0 I asked\u00a0 my friend who is 29 why her very good looking husband who is a DC attorney (who could get dates if he wanted to) went online to meet a wife?\u00a0 She said that he was looking for someone specific and knew that this was the best way to do so!<\/p>\n

So it’s a shame that this beautiful, smart woman is expecting Mr. Wonderful to knock on her door or doesn’t even think that he exists, so why try?\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

What are you doing to meet qualified people to date?\u00a0\u00a0 If you are not using the internet- what’s are you waiting for?\u00a0<\/p>\n
