I love Halloween!\u00a0 The whole idea of dressing up in costumes and going out to parties can be so much fun –even for you shy, introverted people out there!\u00a0 You will find people are relaxed, happy and friendly.\u00a0 So when my clients come to me and we discuss where they can they meet people, the discussion of Halloween parties comes up this time of year.<\/p>\n
First you have to find an appropriate party.\u00a0\u00a0 Perhaps you have a group of friends throwing the party so you will know some people.\u00a0\u00a0 If you had some time to plan, I would suggest you put together a party yourself with a group of your friends where everyone invites a bunch of people they know.<\/p>\n
Next, there are singles groups and activity groups that may have a party.\u00a0 I always enjoyed going to the Ski Club of Washington\u2019s Halloween party.\u00a0\u00a0 If you go to a group\u2019s event, you want to make sure it\u2019s age appropriate for you.\u00a0\u00a0 Some of the divorce groups like Parents without Partners may have a party that includes the kids, as well.\u00a0 Or perhaps there is a Halloween dance that everyone is dressed up for.<\/p>\n
The key is to have a fun, cute, sexy (especially if you are a woman) costume.\u00a0 Costumes that are creative get lots of attention.\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t have to be expensive.\u00a0 One guy came as a running joke and wore a track suit with jokes written on paper pinned to him.\u00a0 I had fun reading his jokes.\u00a0 It gave me a reason to talk to him.\u00a0 Costumes show your playful side- isn\u2019t that what many people are looking for in a mate?<\/p>\n
So find yourself a party this weekend and create wonderful memories. I know several couples who have met at a Halloween party.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Try it and you will find that Halloween is one of the easiest times of the year to meet new people.<\/p>\n
