{"id":105,"date":"2010-04-29T10:03:36","date_gmt":"2010-04-29T14:03:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/motivatedtomarryblog.com\/?p=105"},"modified":"2010-04-29T10:03:36","modified_gmt":"2010-04-29T14:03:36","slug":"which-online-dating-site-should-i-try","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/motivatedtomarry.com\/stage\/which-online-dating-site-should-i-try\/","title":{"rendered":"Which Online Dating Site Should I Try?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of your total dating strategy, I urge my clients to try online dating as a way to find quality people to date.\u00a0 There is a whole slew of reasons to be online, one of which that just the shear numbers of singles who are participating and the convenience that it offers.<\/p>\n<p>I spoke to one of my young mom friend\u2019s husband (about 30 years old) and they met online.\u00a0 Both were attractive people with good jobs.\u00a0 You wondered why they felt the need to go online to meet a mate.\u00a0 The young man said, \u201cI knew what I was looking for and I didn\u2019t want to waste my time\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>You can be targeted in your approach with online dating.\u00a0 Many of my clients have met their spouses and life partners with this approach.\u00a0 So when there are hundreds of online dating sites, which ones do you choose?<\/p>\n<p>Given the numbers, I usually recommend <a title=\"Match\" href=\"http:\/\/budurl.com\/datematchcom\" target=\"_blank\">Match <\/a>and\/or <a title=\"Chemistry\" href=\"http:\/\/budurl.com\/datechemistry\" target=\"_blank\">Chemistry<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 For my Jewish clients I recommend <a title=\"JDate\" href=\"http:\/\/budurl.com\/datejdate\" target=\"_blank\">JDate<\/a>.\u00a0 <a title=\"eHarmony\" href=\"http:\/\/budurl.com\/dateeharmony\" target=\"_blank\">eHarmony<\/a> is great for those who really want to use in depth, detailed structured site.\u00a0\u00a0 Each online dating site offers different strategies and approaches \u2013 so you have to decide which one works best for your personality.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Match\" href=\"http:\/\/budurl.com\/datematchcom\" target=\"_blank\">Match<\/a> is one of the top dating sites by number-for those that you pay for.\u00a0 I\u00a0 believe a serious person will pay to be on an online dating site.\u00a0 It shows that they are willing to put some investment towards the endeavor.\u00a0 I am wary of free sites, although I do know people who met their partner on those sites.<\/p>\n<p><a onmouseover=\"window.status='http:\/\/www.match.com';return true;\" onmouseout=\"window.status=' ';return true;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kqzyfj.com\/click-3682153-10591175\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"padding: 10px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.awltovhc.com\/image-3682153-10591175\" border=\"0\" alt=\"15% Off Match.com - Start Search For Love\" width=\"234\" height=\"60\" align=\"left\" \/><img src=\"http:\/\/www.advertiserserver.com\/advertiserimage.gif\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is also probably the most well know of all the online dating sites \u2013 given their marketing power.\u00a0 It\u2019s the one Dr. Phil has endorsed (and been paid handsomely for his efforts).\u00a0\u00a0 You have the whole world here.\u00a0 You get to contact whoever seems to interest you.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It\u2019s up to you to read the profiles and to judge the picture.\u00a0 On these sites, the picture plays a major role to attracting interested parties.\u00a0\u00a0 It\u2019s your job to weed out the undesirable suitors.<\/p>\n<p>For <a title=\"Chemistry\" href=\"http:\/\/budurl.com\/datechemistry\" target=\"_blank\">Chemistry<\/a> you need to fill out their dating questionnaire that puts you into 4 different personality categories.\u00a0 This takes a little more time to fill out and get up and running.\u00a0 You also have some questions and essays to fill out.\u00a0\u00a0 Then you get 5 matches a day based upon your personality type.<\/p>\n<p><a onmouseover=\"window.status='http:\/\/www.chemistry.com';return true;\" onmouseout=\"window.status=' ';return true;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jdoqocy.com\/click-3682153-10592970\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"padding: 10px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.awltovhc.com\/image-3682153-10592970\" border=\"0\" alt=\"3 Months for the Price of 1\" width=\"120\" height=\"60\" align=\"left\" \/><img src=\"http:\/\/www.advertiserserver.com\/advertiserimage.gif\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So on <a title=\"Chemistry\" href=\"http:\/\/budurl.com\/datechemistry\" target=\"_blank\">Chemistry<\/a> you have a smaller universe from which to choose from.\u00a0 Many people say this is less overwhelming.\u00a0 You have to move forward or decline people\u2019s profile in order to get new matches at a certain point.<\/p>\n<p>Then you have to answer and ask certain prescribed questions before you get to the time you can communicate by email freely with that person.\u00a0\u00a0 Some people prefer this structured way to communicate to ensure a certain level of interest and information is passed among the couple.<\/p>\n<p>Some people find the process tedious and more time consuming.\u00a0 So what do you do?\u00a0\u00a0 One of my clients is on both <a title=\"Chemistry\" href=\"http:\/\/budurl.com\/datechemistry\" target=\"_blank\">Chemistry<\/a> and <a title=\"Match\" href=\"http:\/\/budurl.com\/datematchcom\" target=\"_blank\">Match<\/a> although I don\u2019t recommend doing this.\u00a0 I do recommend trying one for at least 3 months and see whom you attract.\u00a0 If you are not satisfied, then try the other site.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t recommend the \u201cfree weekends\u201d many sites offer.\u00a0 That\u2019s just a tease and you get some matches, and you are really not invested in the process.\u00a0 And you are really not making yourself available to date.\u00a0 I recommend with any of these online dating sites, you commit to at least 3 months.\u00a0 If then, you are not satisfied, then, move to another one.<\/p>\n<p>It would be great if you meet your true love from online dating like so many have.\u00a0 However, you may not.\u00a0 If you meet some interesting people who may turn out to be friends, then perhaps you will feel the time you spent online was well worth it!<\/p>\n<p>Warmly,<\/p>\n<p>Coach Amy<\/p>\n<p>P.S.\u00a0 If you would like to have better success attracting the right people with your internet dating profile consider Coach Amy\u2019s <a title=\"Internet Dating Profile\" href=\"http:\/\/www.heartmindconnection.com\/profile_review.html\" target=\"_blank\">Internet Dating Profile Review Service<\/a> or joining Coach Amy\u2019s Get Love Right summer tele-coaching group at <a title=\"Get Love Right\" href=\"http:\/\/www.GetLoveRight.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.GetLoveRight.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of your total dating strategy, I urge my clients to try online dating as a way to find quality people to date.\u00a0 There is a whole slew of reasons to be online, one of which that just the shear numbers of singles who are participating and the convenience that it offers.
