I just happen to see the Today Show this morning and their segment about Love and the Recession. It was saying what I have already talked about that when the economy dives, people get serious about finding love. They also confirmed that internet dating has increased in numbers. My dating advice to my clients is to get online to find love if you haven’t already done so.
Many of you have been on the internet looking for love some time. Perhaps with no luck – or you wouldn’t be reading my blog! There are some strategies and approaches that can increase your chances for success. When people tell me that “I have been on the internet dating and it’s not working”, I tell them “You haven’t done it with me!” Many of my clients have been successful with internet dating.
Why internet dating? You have a great number of people looking for love relationships. It is up to you to clarify what kind of relationship you really are looking for. As I teach in my classes, people are dating for different reasons and not necessarily the reasons you are. I encourage my clients to say that they are looking for marriage and a family if they truly are. If they are looking for a committed long-term serious relationship without children – say that too!
My whole premise is that you attract what you put out there on the web! Yes, you may eliminate the people who are sitting on the fence. Do you want to waste your time with people who don’t know what they want?
